There is nothing wrong with doing that.
In fact, that's exactly how they work normally.
The circuit is PWM 12VDC.
I would one step further and try and get (pressured) gasoline to flow through the injector.
It's the cleaning chemical that locks up the injectors.
Once you flush them out (with gasoline), they store fine.
