Although I would prefer to see a rotary win, if the swapped car is nice enough, then I'm all for it. It's always nice seeing any original rotary vehicle being taken care of. I'd rather see an FD, FC, FB, etc. with a V8 in it than in a junkyard.
As for traynham's car... really? It seems it might have promise, but as of now, it looks like something pulled out of a junkyard. There's no reason for that to be in ride of the month voting. But, it's not getting votes so it all works out.

Now, once it's finished, I would have no problem voting for it despite there being a V8... if it was the best looking/best put together.
