Thanks for the reply's.

I agree that the thermostat housing/covers are NOT interchangeable.
And the water pump housings, are interchangeable.

Ive checked around for prices on thermostat housings/covers, and they're ridiculous expensive.
So I'm going for a home-made one. Under $20?

It hasn't blown apart yet, its just leaking.
If it blows before I get one made, Ill switch the water pump housings.

I am very near a hardware store, so I can get the tubing, an a metal plate this afternoon, then Ill have to get holes cut in the plate, the pipe welded to the plate and make a diameter change in the tube.

Does anyone know what the measurement is of the piece we are talking about?
I think It has 2 different size diameters.
The base where the thermostat connection is a little bit wider than where the hose is connected.
Then there is the length.
