Well it doesn't have the gold bling, but I did use DEI tunnel/heat shield for my FD:

I called DEI and asked them what the best product would be to reduce exhaust temps inside the passenger side of my car. The recommended the heat shield product because it can withstand up to 1,750 degrees in temps and because the adhesive that holds it on is good up to 450 degrees.
So, I installed it on my car. Easy to do as you just trim it to your desired shape, peel off the plastic backing and then apply. As I have a Magnaflow muffler in my mid pipe, I was particularly concerned about this section so it was my area of concentration. Worked out great and my seat of the pants two hour drive says it does a nice job of controlling temps.

FYI, the undercoating material on the car is Quiet Coat (
http://www.quietcoat.com/), the best product for eliminating noise from your car. It sprays on and reduces 2X the noise of Dynamat. It also weighs much much less.
