Project continues.
I took about a week and half off as I was in PR for business for 5 days and while I was out, I had a potential buyer for the car so I held off doing any work until he decided he wanted the car or not...
As much as its always nice to sell a car and pay some bills off, I'm glad he decided not to get the car - even as I drove it to meet him I loved it... even with all its little issues and body damage - its still fun.
So back to the bodywork. I skipped some pics, but needless to say I've been running the filler now.
Going in light coats to save my elbows.. got the holes all filled up and gone and now I'm just working the panel back into the original shape.
I ran out of my 100 grit paper though and using 220 on raw filler just gunks up way to quick so I had to call it a night.
You can see in the pics the low spots I'm still dealing with, but its coming together two more light to medium filler coats should finish it up. Each coat I feather farther and farther away to blend it all in. I also need a longer sanding block as this panel is curved and makes it hard w/ my 6" block!
Onto the pics...
