Expect it to take YEARS to go through everything. It's that time consuming. I did all the work in my garage. All the paint too, with the exception of the body itself. I couldn't get enough airflow to keep the paint clean, so I hit up a friend of the family who has a body shop and towed the car there to spray the body in thier DD booth.

I bought a set of industrial duty solenoids and redid every last van line. I even built my own vac/boost chamber and mounted it under the UIM. Everything is either stainless hardlines or thick ass silcone.

REW twins are bigger, more plentiful, and can be serviced in the US. What do you do if the RE twind fail? You're shit out of luck. Not to mention I didn't think that the RE twins were capable of the 380-400 that I want to see.

The REW twins will fit in the same physical location in the engine bay regardless of what engine they are on. Plenty of people have dropped REW complete engines into the FC. Some different from others in terms of the mounting. If I was going to go ahead and use the REW engine though, I would build an entirely new subframe to drop the thing in. Well, ok, not an entirely new subframe, I would modify the existing subframe. The REW has some advantages over the RE, but not enough to justify using the REW over the RE based on the RE's advantages. More equal length intake runners, bigger plenum, bigger runners, etc etc etc. The main drawback to the RE are the stock exhaust sleeves which actually, the first engine that I bought was already rebuild using REW housings so i was GOLDEN. The second engine has the RE housings, but I swapped the REW sleeves in. The way they line up isn't ideal but the dyno will tell if I'm being paranoid or not.
