Go buy an NHRA rulebook, it is your friend.
Up to 14.00 you need nothing.
13.99 and quicker requires a helmet (Snell SA2000 or 2005, DOT only not legal)
11.49-11.00 requires a 4-point roll bar
10.99-10.00 requires a 6-point roll bar
Also, 13.99 or quicker on slicks requires a driveshaft loop, relocated batteries require sealed boxes and external on/off switches, etc, etc.
Get the rulebook, it will make your Tech inspection go a lot smoother!
