Probably the CPU under the driver's side kick panel as Ted said. These things are known for poor solder joints; resoldering the connector to PC board joints (or just swaping in a known good CPU) should fix it for you.
BTW, I know the OP said the bulbs are good, but did you check if all the bulbs flash when you flip on the hazard flashers? Since the turn signals & hazard flashers share the same switching circuit to blink the lights within the CPU, that's a quick & easy way to confirm your CPU is the problem. |

thanks guys I will look for that box! anyone have a photo or link to what it looks like ? bigger than a dollar bill ? small ? and yeah you both are probably right on the money. when i turn the blinker on do hear the flasher working but when i put on the emergency lights nothing ! nothing happens so that circuit is not going through . thanks guys just need to find that part! you guys say on the driver side! on the inside of the kick panel . i been down there and seen the fuses! i will get down there soon! see what i find.

I don't have a picture handy, but if you don't have one you can download the FSM for your car here: http://www.wright-here.net/cars/rx7/manuals.html
Look under section T (Body Electrical) for the info. From memory, the CPU is roughly 6x2x1 inches in size, with 1 or 2 connectors on it; sort of an irregular L-shaped plastic box. Located in the driver's side kick panel. I had the same problem years ago and fixed it by resoldering all the connector to PC board joints in the CPU, hasn't given me trouble since. |
