New guy on the site

Hey there Lads,

I've had a love for Fd Rx-7's ever since I started in this car scene back in 2002. After owning many Dsm's and Honda's I took the plunge and bought a stock 1993 RHD Fd Rx-7. Knowing really nothing about these amazing cars I was in over my head for maintenance and problem solving on the Fd.

In the last 2 years of owning my FD I have been very lucky only having to replace a clutch and flywheel. I hope to learn lots of valuable information as I live way out in the country and the nearest garage that knows anything about rotary's is a 1.5hr away.

Look forward to using this site

Welcome! I learned the same way.

1. Buy car
2. Wrench when there's a problem and learn in the process

the Vacuum line, to my MAP became detached while I was legally drifting.
my engine would not rev past 2500, and idled from 300-650 and was stalling.
Fortunately, I acquired a Zip-Tie.
I fixed a catastrophic engine failure, With a Zip-Tie.
JDM FTW.
