It was on sale for $100 last week, so I picked up a can.

I use Collinite 476. It doesn't give the best gloss, but it gives far better protection than anything else on the market. For a nice shine and decent protection, I'd go with NXT 2.0.

This question is way too vague, there are alot of options out there. Right now I'm using Jet seal.

Read for a few hours... Personally I use a caranuba paste followed by a liquid synthetic, both made by Tropi-Care on the Grand Prix and the P71. The FB gets plain jane Meguire's.

Unless that finishing glaze really isn't a glaze, it won't last very long. Glazes tend to wear off within days, if that.

IMO any good caranuba wax is best. Ranges from Meguire's bottom end of the range @ around £5 ($7) to Swizöl @ £4000 ($6000)
I've tried so many products over the years - just see what works best with your paintwork (yes this way costs a lot but IMO it worth it). Also i find using my fnger over light scratches works better as the wax get heated and melts into the grooves. I have ended up with this for my black FD in original (PZ) black and find that its the best out of a huge range tried over the years: http://www.zymol.com/zymolcarbonwax8oz.aspx ![]()

For sealant wax/glaze i only use Autoglym Radiant Wax Polish
For pure carnuba types i have used P21S (which is ok), I also tried Pinnacle Souveran (around 80 dollars for the small jar). I used that on a customer's red F40 and i was extremely impressed. I really like this wax especially for black, red, and darker color cars. Next on my list to try is the Swissvax Coucourse. (about 200 for the jar). In the end, what brings gloss and depth is proper paint preparation, not the actual wax. Wax is just icing on the cake. Proper polishing + wax > wax alone always. Beautiful work. I'm still sticking with my Collinite 476 though. Great bang for the buck. Granted, it won't give you the best shine but a couple coats will last for months. It's also cheap. But... this is coming from a poor guy.
