Richard Monster is on a distinguished road
Hello

Hi, my name's Sean, I own a 93 FD RX7, and I doesn't afraid of anything.

In all seriousness though, I picked up an SSM FD (93 auto base) a couple years ago, got a good deal on it. $5K and it ran and drove, can't really sneeze at that. I know it's an auto, I'm slowly working towards making it a T56 transmission converted, large street port, single turbo (maybe dry sump too? Maybe I'm being ridiculous). That's it for the car really.

As for me, I'm from the Bay Area in California, currently in the Army at Fort Lewis. I love rotaries, love turbos, and love going fast. Don't know what else to say.

Welcome... as much as alot of people dont like automatics, they need to realize its a tool, its a tool that teaches most its owners the skills that are necessary to convert to a manual... :P

and most times it provides a clear unadulterated starting point, since in most cases they have been driven a bit easier then the man....

the plans/ideas you have set out for her are pretty big... i'm looking forward to seeing you try, and accomplish your goals...

(waits to see build thread thread)

Welcome to the club. I am a fellow sufferer with an auto RX7. I feel your pain (although mine is not an FD, so is even slower).
