Steel vs. Aluminum motor mounts?
Hello everyone, first post here.
I have a 93' and I have heard that they came with an aluminum motor mount (on the driver side?) and a steel mount on the other side. How can you tell from looking at them? Since mine are both black and neither appear to have been painted, I'm assuming the aluminum one has already been replaced. Can anyone confirm? Dr. side ![]() Pass. side. ![]() The rubber in the mounts appear to be really worn and have tears in them. I think I'm going to go with Noltec mounts. Thanks all. |

The quickest way to tell if one is steel and one is aluminum would be to check them out with a magnet.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually thought about that not long after I posted this thread. Turns out I was right and have two steel mounts.

The aluminum motor mount arm is usually silver in color.
