 1. Improve driving skill, and knowing when not to push. 2. Improve mechanical condition of car; both cars I have seen needed work- tires, brakes, etc. 3. Wait until you park your car for the day before imbibing.... Everyone who meets you Janna likes you, but we end up scared to death of being around you....

Not a whole year.. BOTD is in September... LOL The 8 has had a complete overhaul so she will be good to go... The only thing wrong with her right now is the fact that while I was up there the body shop flooded the engine so they are working on fixing that. I think that my luck will change for BOTD and if it dosent then I promise I will stay away... :O) |

Thank you!!! Im not a bad driver at all.. I was only going around 35 - 40 MPH when I had my accident, which was the 1st accident I have ever had in my life. The rest of the stuff was not my fault, just heppened to be in the wrong place a tthe wrong time.

in all seriousness, it's good that nobody was hurt badly and that everyone can laugh about the whole situation.

I don't have any pics but I completely trashed my rear tires between the gap, the skyway, and the 1500km each way of driving. they were fine when I left, probably 5 or 6/32 of tread! GTR + 225's = they die quick.

If you just happen to be missing a lug nut or sometime during your trip your tire pressure changes due to WHATEVER is totally different than leaving home to drive 600 miles to DGRR without checking your tire pressure, the condition of your tires, checking your brakes, etc. AND if you're dying to go to DGRR despite the fact that your car needs servicing, the least you can do is park it to keep from endangering others. It's not fair to put anyone in danger or even damage anyone's car when an accident is due to negligence. And as far as inspections go... it's up to the individual owner to make sure their car is in decent condition. A person who's minimally responsible would stay off the Dragon if there's anything visibly wrong with their car.... and if they weren't sure, they'd ask someone who can check it out for them. I do think if anyone sees a potential hazzard, you should say something. Hopefully anyone who poses a potential hazzard to others will be considerate. | |

I agree with this, people need to tune up there cars before the journey. 100 miles on the tires though? I live in mid illinois. its well over 100 miles to dgrr. ha
