which suspension should I go with...

Since I decided to keep the 8, I'm going to changed out the suspensions for next track day. Any suggestion on a set that I could do both street and track?? I really don't want to go with Coilovers as I've heard they don't last long.. Also, someone thing thats reasonable...

What phoenix said. Those shocks plus any good set of springs. I have played around with those shocks and love them, I dont have them, but they are probably my next purchase. Tanabe GF210 or Tein S-Techs are also some spring choices you could throw in with those shocks if you buy them from somewhere else.

The setup most recommended for street/track duties is composed of Koni yellows, tein springs, and your choice of sway bars.

I recommend a set of JIC Magics FLT-FAS. We run this setup on one of our track cars...very easy to setup and are a great ride!

nice cars. I though the koni challenge cars all run on konis??? I just checked the price for the JICs $1500 , too rich for me, the setup I mentioned will set you back half of that.

Hmm.. I might have to price out and see.. I've Heard JICs are good on track but bad on the street (as it wears down quicker). Only reason I say that is because I thought about running JICs on my FD and read too many horror stories about JICs.

We run the KONI full adjustable coilovers on our 2 ST cars...we use to run JRZ's which we are selling for half price right now...$4000 a set, if anybody wants a set. HAHA! But we run JIC's on one of our track/rental cars.

I really think that the new Ksport coilovers are the best for what you are wanting to do. they are lighter than the tein coilovers and they are 32 way adjustable so they are good for both street and track driving. They are also the best that you can do for the price. I really don't agree with the new shock and spring idea. that to me is waisting money. for 600.00 they are the best you can go with and they will last a very long time.

Hell, if cost is the driving factor...go with Megan Racing coilovers. They are about $500, are fully adjustable and are a really comfortable ride. My buddy had a set on his S2000, I loved the way they rode!
