Hoover PD Pulls Me Over

Not doing anything to draw attention to myself at all, I was stopped by the Hoover PD this evening 9:00pm, driving my FD at the corner of 31 S and Lorna. I was 1st car in the far left turn only lane (two turn only lanes to left) I turned left then the blue lights came on. He pulled me over and then said I forgot to signal left turn, after a 10 min interrogation, license, registration, insuance outstanding warrant check, asking if I had been drinking, do drugs, Do I have pills or guns in the car, and if I have ever been arrested, he gave me a warning for failure to signal.

I try to always signal, I don't recall if I did or did not at that light. I felt like I was being harrassed, but I suppose he was just doing his job.

Glad to know these guys are keeping the streets safe around the holidays!

it's the price you pay for driving an FD. They see the car and you're an automatic ricer to the cops. At least you got a warning.

hoover is bad. ive had many run ins with them and right now they are everywhere for turkey day. and dont go anywhere near the galleria this time of year. last year i got pulled 3 times in 30 min for an expired tag.

Hoover PD pulled me over and ticketed me for not signaling. I was passing someone, signaled, then got in front and I guess didn't signal back over in front. $160 bucks for no signal. I was in the old 323. I think hoover gives their cops commission on tickets.

Take it to court, you'll have a good chance of getting it dismissed.

also how is that newborn doing?

Shit bryan.. that sucks! I been very cautious about driving around hoover... I heard about this and seen ton of cops lately.. I guess they are trying to raise money for the city or something..

Hoover and pelham are the worst about enforcement. In pelham I got ticketed for excessive smoking , and driving over a solid line and also improper muffler. WOW what other BS tickets are they willing to give? lol

This ticket was a year or 2 ago. I no longer mess around on hwy 280. I used to park at gas stations hunting for a lambos, ferraris or porsches. All 3 are very common to see in those parts around the rich neighborhoods. Those were the days.

Well, cops are just ball breakers generally......I can't stand them LOL......
They pull me over all the time and harass me...........HEHE
