Its continuous operation since 1933, makes Cheaha, Alabama's oldest continuously operating State Park.
I went there last year with some rotary guys and it was pretty cool.. its bit out of the way (near Anniston, AL). Drive is ok... Not quite like the US129 but still pretty neat.

The roads through Little River Canyon are pretty great too. A couple of ARS guys went a few weeks ago and it was absolutely GREAT!!

Isn't little River canyon near gadsden?? I think I went thru there before.. We could do that also..

its past gadsden in fort payne. bout a 2hr drive to get there from pelham. ive never been though.
