Good job on the vert! Is the S4 sec. fuel rail the only option if I want to go for another FPR or is it possible with the S5 rail too? I guess you have alot more fuel than really needed with the 4x1000`s, did it make it hard to tune? |

Its really not possible with the s5 rail as the FPR isn't removeable. With an s4 rail you get threaded ends with only the addition of a few washers to space it upward. With the right '90deg fittings you can lose the banjo bolts and have a slightly freer flowing rail. Replacing the FPR with one on the firewall would also just be simply easier at this stage as well. The 4 x ID1000 actually made it easier to tune. FFE provided me with the inj dead time table which accounts for different flow in certain situations. Compared to the stock 550s, I have a MUCH smoother idle with very little AFR change (varies between .1).

yeah I'm 6'4" headroom is tight enough as it is (with the helmet on) once I delete the sunroof. shouldn't have an issue. this reminds me of when I put Sentra Spec V seats in my old 240sx hatch. |
