Started mapping did some light throttle pulls upto 8psi feels really strong and is running well



Ps here are a few from earlier today

The exhaust from the midpipe has no boxes now and she sounds nuts , I'm just running a 18" x5" 3.5 midbox

Car is looking really good bud I think that rear bumper is probably one of a few which actually suit the car. Are you thinking of getting the rear arches to match the rear bumper which you can just see in one of the pics you posted?

Loving the fish eye lens shots, have just got a fish eye converter for our camera

Hi guys been a while now I've had a lot on and still mountins of work still to do, work is been crazy this summer along with that we had both of our severs attacked which took all my spare time to sort.

I've still got the shop online and secure but the main site had to be removed and restarted from the start so for now please only use www.topgearstockport.co.uk while I rebuild a better site on the old www.topgearstockport.com sever

Anyways

Onto what little work I've done to the Rex over the past month

Mapping is going well and I'm now at 12psi ready for the water meth at 13psi but..... Just not had time to get out the shop to get my meth so can't go any higher than 12psi

I'm also planning another nurburg trip at the start of October so I need to get my car fully ready for then.

My need to do list for the ring is

Tyres
New stronger brake lines and new rear braided lines
Brake bias valve to remove the stock one from my system
If time permits finish the last part of the flat floor
Will also have to do somthing with my screamer pipe

As a side note I ended putting a large 8" round silencer at the rear now my exhaust is 88db @ 3000 rpm

Onto what little I've done

If you remember concept 7 made me OEM style hood the quality was 100% and seemed a shame to cut the bugger up but hay it's what I do for the greater good

I like to work quick but due to work and the above this has taken me a lot of time to get to this stage just wish we had more days in the week

Now I didn't get a photo but formed the most upper part of the curve to begin the curve I started from the drill holes and went upto 20 deep halfway down

Ok made the side first from some scrap wood as templates and glasses upto them to make the side panels of the duct

With the moulds removed





Where the Borg turbo is sitting was directly behind the curve of the hood, and as I'm running pre tubro water I need to still keep my intake pipe


So out with the saw





Then onto more glass work





And that was my 14 hour day

Ok the side pod for the cold air & WM50 pipe is finished and I've made a start on smoothing









I've also formed the front duct for the vent

Ok time for an update


Ok small update not much work been done on the seven

I've finished the exhaust with a 5" out rolled trim I had in my scrap pile.

I think it works really well





And the bonnet well not much happend there but I did get some time this morning to fit some aero catches
