Front lower arm bushing question... P.S. I hate them
I finally got around to removing the bushings on my front lower arm. After about 1.5 hours and some smushed fingers, I got both of the bushings off that slide on and can't be pressed out. Anywho, I managed to slightly damage the shaft (likely from my chisel.....) during taking them off.
Is this damage alright? Should I grind it down and make it smooth/not a V-shape?

It'll be fine, just smooth it out so you can get the new one on.

Also, are there only 8 bushings up front?
2 per lower arm 2 per control link

Now I'm at a standstill. It says that some Endlinks need the 2305 bushing and some need 2300... yet it gives no way to discern which to use.

IIRC some of the endlink bushings are slightly larger then others. You'll be able to tell because when you go to push them into the endlinks when they're lubed up, they'll slide back out if they're too large..........at least thats what I ran into.

Finding this is always fun. Raise your hand if you can spot the problem...
![]() And now for some positives... ![]() I had already chewed the large bushing up a bit so ignore that damage. Otherwise, the first pic shows it how it was when I took it off the car.

I have some HPSs waiting for me and new calipers. I'm going tomorrow to get new rotors so the whole front system will be new.
