				Fuel injector options?

HI guys I've got a track day car that I am building up. I have a manifold on EFR 8374 IWG bolted up and I'm looking into what I should run for a fuel setup. I already have a power fc and stock fuel setup. I have a friend that offered me his setup from last year for 300$CAD It looks to be a KGP secondary rail with 1600cc's (1680's?) and the resistors. Not sure if this is really a good deal or not? because of school etc I don't have endless money to burn on the car. My plan was to get it working and then upgrade later in the summer or next winter once I'm working. I also was planning on getting away from the powerfc to a more modern ecu as well but its also not in the budget for now. huge power is not the goal, I was planning to run around 10-15psi. I wanted fast spool and good track reliability. So what are some of the other options for fuel setups? my second friend suggested that I just pick up some EV-14 2000cc's and a secondary rail, is this a good option? looks like EV14's can be had for around 330$US shipped and the Fuel rail will be 220$US shipped for 550$US, or like 700$CAD. Thoughts? |

You should def be able to get away with the secondary rail and 2000cc injectors. My suggestion would be to purchase high quality stuff now, that you'll still be able to use later. No point in spending money on something you will be upgrading again soon anyway..

Then save your pennies and do it right! I have been saving my pennies for 6 years.. You can go a few months to a year and have a the parts you really want not risk your motor. Not have to resell something that will be worthless after you buy it. Patience drive your nice new Daily and take care of your Baby damn...

Better to use those with a good secondary rail (or even that KG Parts pos) than to try going with EV1's. 550/1680 *should* be good for 400whp(ish) if I remember correctly.
