Ps conversion question
I have an 89 gtu that was converted to manual steering and I want to put the ps back on. I have already gotten the ps rack and the low mount pump bracket. I know I need the pump still, fluid cooler and computer for it, are there any other parts that I need to do it, or is this all?

I don't think they have any relays for it. But check the FSM just to be sure.

Is there a seperate speed sensor or does it get that from the speedo? I'm trying to figure this all out before I do it.

An "89 gtu" is a base model, so it's engine-RPM-depedent power steering.
To confirm, your steering rack and power steering pump should have only 2 fittings on each end. -Ted |
