Falken Azenis RT615

Just ordered a set and wondered if anyone else has tried them. I've been running the TOYO T1Rs for a few years and I've been real pleased with them for a street tire with some occasional track and autocross use. The RT615 seems to be a little more geared for track use so I'm looking forward to trying them out since I have an extra set of rims.

I have 185/60/14 Rt615's on my FB and I LOVE them! The car just flat grips and autocrosses very, very nicely. They have a ton of grip, even cold, and handle light rain and daily-driver duties with aplomb. They are hands-down the best tires I've ever owned. I'm able to beat Porsche Boxsters with a stock GSL FB on these!

I have been running a set of 225 50 16s on my beater FC all summer. Even with roughly 8,000 street miles and 11 open lapping/HPDE days they still have some tread left.

On the track they come up to temp quickly and don't start to fall off, get greasy, untill about 15 minutes into a session. Even then the grip is still decent.

Over all I am very impressed with them and you can't beat the price.

My experience with them is they can easily be over powered. when this happens they wear VERY QUICK..

they are good when new.. once they wear though I think they fall HARD

I don't think my 231K mile 12A is ever going to overpower them...

However, I am planning on a set in 245/17 and 275/17 for the 'Vic next summer, and it has power AND weight, so we'll see...

Thanks guys! Looking forward to getting them on the track at VIR next Friday and seeing how they feel. Was hoping to having them on this weekend for an autocross but...

I have them, and was gonna hit the track next friday, but I have a midterm that day. But from what I can tell while driving up and down mountain roads, they are magnificent for the price. I'm running 255/40/17 all around. I've got about 1500 miles on them so far.

I just purchased a set about a month ago for when I was in the states on leave. I did 2 AutoX's, a track day in the rain at Little Talladega, and 2 days on the full course at VIR. I was very impressed with the tire overall to be a street tire, esp. in the rain(which I am normally very timid) at Little Talladega. I think it is one of the better bang for the buck tires on the market right now that offers decent performance all accross the board.

Go them on yesterday, only put about 20 miles on them. So far I like what I'm feeling.

Put about 160 miles on the tires on the highway and back roads and about 120 miles on them on the track at VIR yesterday, all in the rain.

On the highway and back roads the tires were great. Smooth ride, low noise, very responsive and good feedback.

On the track I was very impressed. I spun out once (like at least 15 other people) and got loose several times (like everybody) at the same spots. I had no problem getting the nose to go where I wanted, just had to be careful about breaking the rear loose applying power.

I can't wait to drive the car on dry pavement.

I can report that they work well in cold, dry conditions as well. Drove the RX-7 to work the last two days, well, because I felt like it? It's been around freezing at night and low 50's in the day. It squirms a little under power (as much power as a 232K mile 12A makes anyways) when dead cold, but by a mile down the road they gripped nearly as well as hot days. I'm still super impressed with these tires. Passengers always comment about how you can here the tires picking up dirt and all sorts of stuff! They're sticky I explain
