Why do you say that? Did she not enjoy the event last time?

Phil, it's not that she didn't "enjoy" it... it's just that it's REALLY not her thing and kinda of brings stress to her. The only reason she went that year was for Mark. Don't take it personal.

I hear ya Jonathan...

Doc, we usually chat thru the 2 way radio and such. Usually a good way to entertain ourselves and chat during the boring interstate ride.

Phil - I'm not sure if TC and I (both from Montgomery) will convoy with you guys, or go up by ourselves. TC told me you guys run about 90 mph. I have a problem with that ... my car don't go that slow!

I'm torn between going up with you guys or not. TC's saying he MUST get a few things done with his work before he can go, so he's not 100%. I told him that he needs to get his priorities lined up and that there's no reason to let his mortgage payment stand in the way.

If TC can't make it, I'll definitly meet you guys up in B'ham with a full load of gas ... I'll fill the tank up too.

Well, I don't think we'll be hauling ass this time around.. Probably around 70-75 all the way to NVNC.. with occational 100+ MPH pulls

Great ... Actually I prefer the slower speeds, and won't be doing any pulls until I get a PFC & EBC on the thing. My car runs great, but I have to stay out of it due to MEGA CREEP. But I've only had the thing streetable for ~6 months. I spent a lot of time getting the thing running and the body & chassis straight.

I talked to TC a little while ago, he sounds like he may wind up putting off some of the things he has to do until after. And is currently sorting out a leaking coolant overflow issue.

Last thing - I've spent so much time cleaning the car, am I an idiot of thinking of trailering it (enclosed) up to NVNC to keep it clean in the case the weather is nasty?

Guys, bear in mind, my car was formally known as the junkyard dog. I bought it crashed and have spent a lot of time straightening it out. Don't hold the gaps in the front end around the headlights and such against me.

Last night I pulled the spare out and aired it up. It had about 5 psi, and I don't think it had ever been removed. The bose speaker unit in the back sounds like it needs to be replaced. I removed the whole thing (temporarily), it was very easy. I removed it because there's a connector not connected, and I was trying to find what it connected to. The connector is in the bottom left (if you think of the system like a goal post) at the carpet corner. I found nothing in the area to plug it up to.

Anywho, the car is good to go, I'll see you guys around 8 am pending B'ham traffic.
