Question Shared cabin food gotchas

So I've never done the DGRR shared cabin thing, this year is a first. I'm
wondering if some of the veteran DGRR cabin sharing folk have any hard learned
lessons to help a newb with this? Specifically with the pooling of resources for
meals.

Do some meals being shared and prepped by the group work better than others?

Can we really save money compared to eating out?

The cabin has an oven and grill. Is one easier or better to use than the other?

I'm just curious, I guess, to here about how this has worked for others in the past
or what you do now to make this easier or more fun.

Discuss!

Thanks.
