93 Montego Blue street/track car build.

History: When I bought the car over 3 years ago from Texas, It had full exhaust, pfc smic, chipped ECU(don't remember what kind), H&R springs and an RE intake filter. I then added a PFC w/ commander, profecB spec II, efini y-pipe, gotham racing short shifter, a Greddy FMIC, Fluidyne radiator, an aluminum AST, and ACT S/S clutch with S/R motorsports FW. I never dynoed with those mods but I did drive back to texas to have Steve Kan tune it.

The car was a blast until that day we all fear.....D DAY (detonation day lol)

I decided to go big on my first build so I had a some what local friend (rotaryinspired) perform a street port on my motor, small on the primaries, and Huge on the secondaries.

I put the motor back together with the RA kit and installed a Garret To4R kit from rx7store. Along with some 1600cc secondary injectors and rewired Supra fuel pump, and an oil catch can. Also added a jacobs electronics FC1000 amp and TII leading coil. With that setup broke in It was time to go back togotham for another street tune. Unfortunatley I was experiencing boost creep and could not adjust the boost controller for maximum responce. When I got back home the car was dynoed and put down 417hp @ ~ 17psi I was a little disapointed with the #s but the car was faster than ever. unfortunatley about a year later I spun a bearing and themotor had to come apart again.

This time I wanted to set up the car to spool a bit sooner and be able to handle a tight auto-x as well as stretch it's legs on a circuit. so I sold the T04R and got a GT3574 .84 A/R from a-spec. as well as some koni yellow shocks

Got the motor together but one Of my coolant seals was pinched and out came the motor again. I was planning on just replacing the seal but took it a step further, and had BDC bridge my front and rear irons. I am now in the process of putting it back together again. I'll try to find pix of my earlier setups but they are not on my PC so that will have to wait.
