Short shifter or Short Throw shifter Ted?
You know there is a difference, and need to be specific. Also, all the points you make (other than the sequential set-up) can be traced back to driver error. The point of a short throw shifter is not to shift faster, but lessen the distance the shifter needs to physically move to change gears.
