What size injectors are you running at 90%?
If all goes well, the engine should be rebuilt and in the car in March. I would like to get some base tuning done prior to DGRR (even though my FC wont be comign). I will be going to Dave's with the irons prior to the engine build though to discuss those fun ports he mentioned last time I was up there... I also was considering getting him to rebulid my trans and cryo some things, dunno though -we'll see how time/money permits... |

Marren "American Style" 750/1000cc/min or 72/96 lb/hr injectors. I later found out that they are Delphi's and designed for propane
Basically the spray pattern is more of a firehose than anything and they are NOT very linear. My only real saving grace is the Motec inj drivers being so damn powerful and so damn accurate. My belief is, not having seen many other cars, is that std or poor injectors, like these, combined with not the greates inj drivers, leads itself to a strange running car. If you look at some of my logs it becomes pretty clear when looking at duty cycle. But whatever. I've had a bunch of conversations with a few top people in the field and I may be doing some testing in the spring. FWIW, I may be redoing my fuel rails as well. I'm not going to bad mouth the guy on the forum, I think it's something personal between him and I and he still makes some cool products and his injector service is still adequate although I'll be going to Kinsler from now onQuote:
