just an interlude into this, i have no idea what the front differential they used is. i really dont. i cant find anything like it in the aftermarket

i recall, that the front diff was for an alfa romeo or something weird...

i was going to say though, 626 strut/brakes almost bolt into an FC, axles arent too bad, if you were cheap, you can run a B2600 4x4 trans and transfer case (its a T2 trans with the transfer case added).

but the front diff is a problem! not only do you have to find one, it's gotta fit too!

millen moved the engine, back and to the side, which in a "street" car isn't getting very practical.

i looked into this a couple months ago, it turns out the FC has the same ball joint design as the FWD cars, its not a tapered seat like all the mazda RWD cars. i was hoping to use maybe a miata upper arm, and i dunno FD spindle, and have easy double wishbone, but no....
