As far as I know, nothing really has to be done to the Webers themselfs when switching to alchohol or E85 besides fuel pump/lines/filter. True of false? Which is all getting swapped out anyway to handle the PP.

My question is really about running the 1st gen dizzy and where to get started on timing. Just advance it until it idles smooth and tune it from there? Don't really have a clue here...

Thanks in advance.

nevermind the timing, what about fuel??!!
when you switch from gas to alcohol you burn double the fuel, so lets say your running a 240 main fuel jet on your p-port on gas. you switch to alcohol, you now need at least a 400 main jet(on the small side). the carb you have with the main jets removed wont flow more than 280..
