thanks again for the compliments! i'd love to keep the truck, but my new job requires me to have a 4 door, so the REPU would have to magically turn into a crew cab. haha... also, with my 510 just about complete from the restoration, the repu would probably not get the attention it deserves, so i would like for it to go to a good home.

Hummm

Humm, thinking of adding it to my collection. Have you done more work on her such as connect the AC or put in the door panels yet? Was she originally white? How is the battery box, all parts there? Regards Max

the ac hasn't been installed yet, but hoping to put in the underdash portion of the unit within the next week. lines will need to be found or made.
door panels and kick panels are in. not really a whole lot more needs to be done. maybe center link, lower ball joints, and bed liner would be the small things that i think it still needs. o yea, the fuel gauge needs a look. it doesn't read accurately, but i think contacts just need to be cleaned. orig color was green. so not original paint. battery box - as far as i know, its complete. i've heard all kinds of stuff about sliding battery trays, battery hold down straps, etc, but i've never seen an OEM one. |
