Is there a seperate speed sensor or does it get that from the speedo? I'm trying to figure this all out before I do it.

An "89 gtu" is a base model, so it's engine-RPM-depedent power steering.
To confirm, your steering rack and power steering pump should have only 2 fittings on each end. -Ted
