well if you are running in a stock class you wouldn't be allowed slicks. so if you had to go with a street tire and on a separate set of race only wheels, i think the falken azenis rt-615s would suit you well. i know some of the top guys and gals at my local autox that run street tires run those. they might even be good for daily driving and racing on the weekends. but if you were really concerned about longevity you could go with any other azenis...

You can run DOT tires like Hoosiers or v710s but not true slicks.
