Decided not to pursue it. The car was in okay shape, certainly not $1500, but since I don't have access to a garage the pile of minor fix-its was a bit too much for now. Moderate rust but not nearly as bad as the first car, needed the choke, needed carb tuning or work, idled at 1500RPM, the electric wipers and windows were feeble, and the turn signals had stopped working, among others. Think I'll bide my time, but actually sitting inside the GSL-SE gave me a real thirst for having one of my own someday.
