Transmission Tunnel Heat Wrap

What are you guys using for heat wrap in your transmission tunnel, or what do you suggest? I want to crack down on diverting all heat away from the interior as I've removed my A/C finally. The engine and transmission are out of the car right now, so this is a better time than any. All sources I've searched for point towards Thermotec. Is there anything else out there anyone recommends? I have been using either the Thermotec or DEI stuff. I haven't even done it from the exterior yet. I just placed a layer over the tranny hump from the inside under the carpet. Even that made a big difference in my car. No need go broke on the gold stuff IMO.
