Middle TN - Thread - Page 2

Well everyone we are back from 4days in the hospital. Little baby girl is here and doing well (7pounds 1ounce). Mommy also is well and we are all happy to be home. Now to get some much needed rest over the next few days.

Just a heads up,

SCCA Autocross June 1st and June 15th at the Nashville Speedway. I'm gonna try to make them both if anyone wants to come out. We can do lunch/dinner after.

Myself, Dan Chadwick, and trevor should be there.

No, this Fri. I'll be racing at the Speedway. First time I've had a chance to race this season, I usually have to work.

I wont be racing now. I have been given a chance to go to Bonnaroo for free. And Fri the 13th just doesn't sound like a good day to be racing the 7 anyway. Next time I will be there, and hopefully nothing will stop me.

So I finally made it out to the Speedway and the turnout absolutly sucked. For one, the tech placed me in the Pro Four class. Two, there were only three of us in this class (me and two EVOs) and one of the EVOs bitched out and didnt run at all. So this leaves just two cars in this one class and my compition just so happend to be a 400hp AWD up against my ???hp NA. WTF! ! ! Why wouldn't the techs put us with the larger group (Domestic Fours) so we could run more than one race and get what we paid for. I dont mean to degrade my car at all cause it actually did ok considering the odds but it would have been alot more fun to beat up on some Hondas and whatever else was there. The EVO got me by just a little over a car length, so im proud of my NA.

Yeah, According to the rules, it appears rotary can only run pro-4
