I will try to explain the best I can.
2 feeds 1 return 1 -8 AN feed from the prime pump ( in tank 044) to the FPR with a non return check valve after the pump. 1 -10 feed to the mechanical fuel pump with a check valve before the pump. 1 -10 return from the FPR The prime pump is on a ON OFF switch, once the car is started there is enough vacuum /gas draw on the mechanical pump to shut off the prime pump. At the same time if the belt on the mechanical pump breaks I will have some what fuel pressure from the prime pump to make it home/off the track/ in to the trailer. I hope it makes sense. if not I will be more than happy to respond to any ?? you / someone ales might have. Thanks |
