I think the best to do is get a Toyota pickup rear end and have it cut to fix.The rear comes in 33 spin some come with posi and its strong or a ford 8.8 from a Ford Explorer. Some are posi with 373 gears and rear dish.Any way you look it going cost you a little cash. The best thing to do is do your homework .I been up and down myself on what to do with my Rx3 about a rearend.
I think the Toyota is better,It's lighter, stronger. Good luck!!! |

Im going with a ford 8"rear end ,almost done with it .Its 28 spline (the same as an old 9") ,parts are easy to find and they are inexpensive .Im a big rx2 nut but wish it was a rx3 because the fab would be so much easer .
