So I also hear. More for cornering than straigh line grip which is what I need Smoked the center out of the R1R's that I have now

I kinda feel like it's all or nothing. I don't really have a desire to attend DGRR AGAIN with no rotary, especially the Cosmo. I NEED to bring the car home Sunday so I can drive it and shake it down and clean it up before Thursday.
Don't be a pussy, drive untested. It's more fun that way

Really? I tried the Z1 SS and hated those as well. They were ok on the auto-x, until I mashed the gas, or the brakes. After one particular auto-x that was a good 2 hour drive away I put the fronts on the rear and just smoked them round in the parking lot

don't last as a track tire.

brian from what I read tread life doesn't last long. havent really seen any data that they last x amount of miles.

as for tire availability I would instant message the folks at tire rack to confirm. they are quick and u don't have to deal with the phone.
