We finally got some nice weather, figured I'd pull her outside for better pictures. Shiny! soon to be cleaned and waxed. .

Since the weather was so nice I put the passenger side trim on.

Last of my parts to be put on the car, along with the rear mud guards. Two more coats and I will be ready to finish up the exterior Friday!

I wish I had seen this earlier... what I did with my S4 molding back in the day was paint it and clean coat the hell out of it. This way I can wax away and not worry about it getting on the rubber and discoloring it....

NICE! A little grease goes a long way especially in the motor and gears... that made a huge difference in mine....

I believe they are original to the car. I JB Welded the studs in place and clean them periodically.

Correcting myself, after looking at other glass sunroofs I found out that this is not a Pacific glass sunroof but instead it's a Golden Bronze. Wonder if this was still a dealer option or an aftermarket piece? Anyone know?

Got these on Friday morning, very happy with the results.

Next up was repairing the mounting point for the rear mud guards using JB Weld.

Waited a day for hardening and the guards were ready to be put on

I had originally thought about not bothering with repairing the mounting holes but I would have regretted it if the trim tape didn't hold. I bent up some aluminum to secure the guard in place, worked very well and is strong!

Since our unpredictable weather had slowed me down for a period of time, I had stalled on cleaning and waxing the car. Glad I did because a friend of mine is doing auto detailing and paint correction on the side, does a really good job too so I asked him if he would finish what the painter didn't do and also make it shine!

Here's a pic he sent me earlier, said "looks way better in person this picture does it no justice". I'm excited all over again and I don't have to wait 9 MONTHS to see results!!

I'm so excited about DGRR this year since I'll be driving my own car! No more CTSV!!
