 1 question though. Wtf is this thing that the arrow is pointing to. I don't have my dash in front of me but that does not look familiar at all...

its some type of amp for the factory stereo. Not on all models.

Any pics of the place in question (see pics)? I'm pretty sure that the third picture pieces go there, I just can't quite figure out how. It'd probably help if I wasn't so tired and frustrated... ugh.

Well, I installed the dash without them.
 Hopefully it will be fine. I'd still like to know for future reference though.
