Thanks!

Started installing the headlight buckets, motors, and new headlights.

Cleaned and painted

All mounted up and ready for use

Thanks to mr Dave Jones (Mazdave) I got a replacement arm for the driver side motor that I lost somehow. Tomorrow I plan on replacing the pitman arm and installing all new tie rod ends for the steering along with new bolts

Started reapplying ALL the bolts under the hood as well as starting a wire tuck. Yes..... It sucks! I have stripped the harness down and started cutting wires. We will see how it turns out. Headlight wires are ran so far.

Final product for the direct fire ignition coil mount. Had to shorten it about an inch for a good fit. Needs a little sanding and paint, then it's ready to go!

Finished up the coil mount and installed it. I'm pretty happy with it! Just need coils now lol

I also finished up my headlight wiring and now cutting, relocating, soldering, and heat shrinking the rest.... Did I ever mention I hate wiring?!?!

Installed my new sway bar yesterday. It was so much bigger than the factory bar that I had to open up the wholes in the tension rod mounts so it would slide through. Pretty happy with it other than the fact that it is the wrong color!

And yes the washer are temporary! Lol

My moroso switch panel also arrived so I installed in as well. Still need to do a lot of wiring and buy/install all the gauges. Love it so far.

So I was headed to a buddies house to work on my awesome girlfriends newly acquired SA and I saw what looked to be an rx7 with a body kit....... Turns out it was! Now I had a widebody at one point and like an idiot I got rid of it and now I'm building the same car. Long story short they no longer sell the old kit I had and I couldn't find one anywhere. This rx7 just happened to have the very kit I needed....

I immediately turned around and went back to look at it. The owner was not around, but his daughter was. I told her I was extremely interested in the body kit and gave her my number. Then I looked it over for a few and snapped a pic.

The next morning the old man called me and after a few minutes of talking he said that he was not interested in separating the kit from the car at all. So I bought the whole car.....

It's a 1982 GSL with 153,000 miles from Tennessee.

Inside the car was a brand new never used set of tokico blues and a new set of lowering springs.

Messed with it a little today and tried starting it. Car fired up pretty easily, but the fuel pump isn't working at all. Car ran for only a few seconds, but sounded pretty good. Car is almost 100% stock and very quiet lol

That's a hell of a find. The tan interior looks great with the right body color. I'm partial to the British racing green with a tan interior, but that might just be me.
