Wow... Brad Barber shipped his 1990 Eunos 3-rotor out for the event. Crazy. I'd love to do the same sometime in the future. Looks like one of the best rotary events in the country.

Phil,

Hope you can make it out to Sevenstock. Would love to see someone set up a package deal where for something like $2500 you could get your car shipped from the West Coast to the Deals Gap weekend. Price would include round trip vehicle shipping to within 50 miles of the event, 2-3 nights lodging at the event, and round trip airfare. Would definitely make for one heluva great time. Hey... been meaning to ask. How many more cars and guests can the event accommodate? Looks like you had the parking lot pretty filled up. What happens if you double your number of attendees next year? Just curious.

^^Good question..

The max capacity would be 350-400 people at the lodge. If we go over that, it would be first come first basis... and have the gathering somewhere else. I highly doubt we'll break 300.... but who knows...

The total parking capacity at the lodge, including the top parking where the trailers were parked, I'm guesstimating we could park well over 200 cars.

Well buy them now and the cost will be less that $300 to Portland, Or. Two nights at a motel on the way ~$90, gas will be around ~$350 total round trip.

Then we crash at you families place and we have a trip on the cheap!

PHIL
Hell yeah you can come down with me, shit, like it was even up for discussion. Brothers got's to stick together!

Depends on what you want to do. I was figuring leaving Thursday early in the morning to go either the scenic route or just get there early so we can spend all day Friday, Saturday and part of Sunday at Sevenstock.

Going the scenic route would cause us to spend a night at a motel on the coast if we went at a sane (semi-legal) pace. We would then drive the rest of the way early Friday morning and get there around 11 am.

You leaving from LA Sunday is actually a really good idea. If you leave early Sunday I could get back Late that night (hauling ass) if I didn't do an autocross that weekend. Less stuff to lug around if I didn't (I need to make my own tire trailer soon.....)
