Hello Roto 01-30-2009 12:43 PM

wow

AHarada 01-31-2009 09:26 PM

Wow, Amazing build.

What is that stuff on the irons? The white stuff on the outside that's also on the front cover.

Are you running an electric water pump? Have any pix of that setup? I'm curious why you didn't relocate the alternator to where the AC compressor used to be.

13bpower 01-31-2009 11:23 PM

Man this car is bangen..

David Jerome 02-01-2009 10:36 AM

Probably one of the nicest modified fds I have ever seen, good work.

its a marble spray that you put on over the base colour its a silver marble spray on effect........
as for the water pump yes i had that block machined up to bolt the alternator in the standard position as i also made a bracket to mount the power steering pump lower on the side of the engine........
this was because i had more mods in mind which i will show you pics of

Amazing looking FD. I see some nice fabrication. Only thing I don't like is the almost 180 degree bend coming off the turbo, but I'm sure your car is plenty fast enough as is :D

AHarada 02-02-2009 09:30 PM

You definitely aren't messing around when it comes to that turbo and piping!

That marble coloring is very interesting.

So after the water pump, coolant is directed into that filler neck and straight down? What is your radiator setup?

I'm very impressed by your unique and effective mods.

WE3RX7 02-02-2009 10:53 PM

Your sir. Are my hero. That's amazing.....

I love the fabrication ideas too... very unique and obviously work well.....

Quick ? - whats the benefit of the CNC screw in welsh plugs?

Herblenny 02-02-2009 11:19 PM

NVMYRE,

I have to ask you this... I think last year I was watching some australian car shoot out on TV and I think saw an FD similar to yours... Is it possible that it was yours??

Just curious.. I forgot the name of the show..

hi well firstly alloy doesnt rust and secondly under high loads of boost and horse power plates are known to flex and have some even though minimal movement ....having the plugs cnc'd just eliminates the having to worry if it pops a welsh plug or having to knock them out and replace them and as most people will tell you the more you can take care of and prepare and engine for the abuse (for lack of a better word) and force that will be placed upon the engine and driveline the better it will perform and the longer it will last thats all i have done ......
this is my street car i drive it on the street and with the power levels set at what it is tuned at i have had great results and engine life and minimal signs of wear when pulled down whith this setup ....
