The pic works for me.
It's a rear counterweight. -Ted |

Not exactly sure what you guys are asking...
These rear counterweights are originally from Mazda OEM for automatic transmissions running a flex plate (for starter). The stock manual transmission models came with a Mazda OEM flywheel that was one-piece with it's own integrated counterweight. Almost every aftermarket flywheel for our cars require this rear counterweight, because the aftermarket flywheel does not have an integrated counterweight built into it. This is why you see them for sale. -Ted |

They did come with a rear CW, it is integrated into the stock flywheel.
RETed Would you do a straight trade for S4 CW for an S5 CW? Or are you just looking to sell it outright? |

If they are just dumping parts, they have no needs for another counterweight. If the seller likes to horde parts, then they might bite. Advantages for S4 CW: more of these motors around; big boost guys run S4 turbo rotors with 8.5:1 compression Advantages for S5 CW: can be used for FD applications, since S5 FC and FD use basically identical weight rotors -Ted |
