I will try to answer this, but let David tell you for sure.

Brent, we did drill holes and placed a threaded insert in to allow us to be able to remove it as needed.

AHarada, the coil wires would be best if custom fitted to the exact length to have less wire needed.
I don't think the stock 3rd gen coil would bolt in the same holes but you could re drill it if you wanted, but why when the TII coil is alot better and cheap to pick up.
A set of wires where you can trim them to the popper lengths needed would be petter as not to have alot of extra wire.
