i wasnt asking about the FD tranny. i just threw that in for reference. that the USDM and JDM might be different.

from the first post:

"but one of my spare TII trannys has a very noticable difference in appearence. when i bought it, they guy said it was from a swap he bought. i cant remember if he bought a JDM one or local one. so if it is in fact a JDM II tranny, is there any difference between it and the USDM one? i was told that JDM Fd trannys are stronger. but i dont know if that was true either..."

im wondering why one of my TII trannys look different than the others i have seen.

from what i have seen and been told. there is no visual difference between a S4/S5 TII tranny. so what do i have?
