Door ding...

it looks to me like the paint is down to the primer. I COULD be the pic though. Let's put it this way, if you can see the paint and catch your fingernail on the clear, you're gonna need to re-spray it. Maybe it's just me but it doesn't look dinged. It doesn't look like the sheet metal has been deformed, it looks like the clear coat has been scrapped down to the base coat. Meaning a trip to the body shop or some work with some U-Pol clearcoat and alot of sanding/buffing.

I hate people. This is why I park as far away from people and generally in the corner spot as much as possible with one side of the car on the curb and twice the distance between my outside wheels and the line than should normally be there.

Then ofcourse you get the obliviots that judge thier parking based on distance rather than the lines and end up parking IN my space. Those people get the generic note left on thier windshield that reads, "The general rule of thumb is one car per spot - asshole." Is it just me or is it getting harder and harder to have nice things in this world?

Yours is a lot better than mine, took mine straight down to the fucking bare metal on the door of my FC..... and the asshole had the BALLS to keep their car parked next to mine with my paint still on the edge of their door as irrefutable evidence. I haven't done anything to that car yet (I'm lucky enough this asshole goes to the same college I do) so I wrote down every bit of information I could about his car: License, make/model/color, etc. I'm half tempted to give it the pocket screwdriver, THEN turn over this information to all the local car forums.... or maybe just turn it over to the local car forums and have them do the dirty work.
