The fuel injectors are pull-to-ground signals, with the power side always on. That splice is for power. Are those branches for the secondaries? If so, there are two more solenoids that run off that branch of the harness, and that's what it could be for. It's all basically for emissions / idle control, so just tape it off and be done with it. -Ted
