What about doing something like the "Speed4Sale" event or the Texas Supra event where 1 day was a track day at Talladega road course, 1 day a drag race at Steele and car show. Or add in a 60-130mph run or do an "Ultimate Street Car event" that might include an autocross and a 0-100-0mph event. I can get the device to clock those events. You could do them on the drag strip if it was rented. This way, no cops would get involved unless there was a little street action one night. This might be better suited for a smaller group! That do you think?
I thought about this many times.. I thought Speed4Sale did a good job but seems like they don't allow rotaries anymore and they are more into GTRs. I also talked to Edgar about doing some sort of 1/4 mile event and he said he could bring some high HP rotary guys...

Also, Zoomfest is in July for track so I'll try to check on it after zoomfest...

Can we take a quick vote as how many people would be interested in something like what Speed4Sale used to have?? track day, drag racing, and car show?? I could also work with local SCCA and see if we could do AutoX with local guys.. so schedule will be:

Friday - TGPR track day
Saturday - 1/4 mile drag
Sunday - AutoX

Thats funny as me an Ernie were just talking about this. We like the way Phil is running these but we need a track to do our things SAFE! No more tickets! We have cars made for the track (drag or auto X) so I vote we do one at a motorplex that has both a road and drag event! Come on Phil....
