I would have to say the only mod I regret are the RotaryFX parking LEDS/Fog Lights and my CP racing 4 point strut bar (makes working in the engine a PIA). And maybe not going with full coilovers from the start.

havent done too many things to my 8, but as far as regrets I wish I had gotten some wider rims with a lower offset. My enkei's look good I think, but man I wish I had some pf01's 18 X 9.5 on all four corners with a +35 offset

A lot of the mods on 7club, BWAHAHAHA. No, there are a few good ones over there. Seriously though, I wish when I went single turbo that I'd just saved my money and got a full kit the first time instead of piecing together my own kit and blowing it on the dyno lol. There might be a few other things too but for the most part I've been pretty happy with all my mods. |

^ Going FI is something that should definitley be planned out and budgeted for with much detail. I am beginning to consider that now.

Giving myself a "heavy foot" if I had stayed off the throttle I would no be rebuilding it so soon... again :P my rationale was... if I've rebuilt it once, why cant I do it again... well guess what I'm doing this winter.. lol J.

Another crap issue with the Glowshift gauges is the the constant +12VDC connection required to remember the last color setting can drain a good car battery dead in about 2~4 weeks if the car is being stored. I have a set of 3 of the black 7 color series analog (oil pressure, oil temp & water temp) gauges in my FC. Last winter that's exactly what happened while my car was sitting in the garage for a few weeks. Did a little electrical troubleshooting and determined the current draw on my 3 gauges was 250 mA (= 1/4 Amps) when off.... Naturally I only discovered this after the warranty expired. So until I get some good gauges, I added a switch to cut the constant +12VDC to keep my battery alive.

I wish I had rebuilt my last motor and drove it for a bit longer before tearing it out for a new one. I could have had a few more months of fun. Also, I wish I would have had the rear-end narrowed a bit more. Even another inch would prevent the wheel offset problems I'm having now. |
